The World's first Mobile Scanning Bureau! We provide the scanning services of a fixed site bureau, with the added security and privacy forded by processing the documents at your site. Docuvan specialise in all facets of Document Management. This can cover providing basic bureau imaging services through to the supply, installation and training of full document management solutions, incorporating software, hardware and services. No matter how big or small your requirement, we can help you with a solution. The most common solution we provide is based on all documents being managed in a Document Management System (DMS). This involves installing some database software, (which varies depending on your requirement), undertaking various levels of training and some consulting time to help you work out your company policies and procedures for the use of the system. DMS systems can manage all documents on your network, including word processing, spreadsheet and email as well as the scanned images. We recommend all documents reside on a server of some description to ensure the ease of backup! The primary service provided by Docuvan is the conversion of paper documents into digital images. We can provide value-added indexing, coding, optical character recognition, and data entry services. We typically deliver TIFF or PDF files to our customers. If required, we can provide a basic solution just for managing the images that have been scanned. This is based on a search system built onto the CD the images are supplied on. The mobile Docuvan facility is equipped with the imaging industry's finest equipment and software. We can convert up to 10,000 pages of paper per day. Your documents only leave your premises when they are to be processed and then only to the van outside. They are easily available if required. Security and privacy issues are treated with the utmost consideration.
